There is no particular order:
Backlinks are important because they show search engines that many other sites consider your content
Content quantity (of course combined with quality) is important because it shows search engines that you are an expert in your field. (It's best to have the most comprehensive content compared to your competitors)
Brand search is good because it shows search engines that people are interested in your brand
Add unique new information to each piece of content you create. If people can find the same information elsewhere, why should they visit your site?
Page load speed is crucial. If your website is slow, people will leave, and search engines will take notice
Keep users on your site as long as possible. If people leave your site quickly, search engines will take notice
You know you have good content when people close the tab after finishing reading, rather than returning to the search results
Having an author with a search history related to the content's topic demonstrates to search engines that a person with authority in the field is writing the content
If you have a good-looking / unique design, people will stay longer on your site, return more often (since they will remember you), and are more likely to share your content
