My Opinion on Search Intent

By Gabriele Asaro

I think search intent is super important. When I make content, I need to give people what they're looking for. It's like reading their minds.

When someone types something into Google, they want an answer. If my page shows up and doesn't give them that answer, they'll leave. That's bad for me and for them.

Let me give you an example:

If someone searches "how to tie shoes", they want steps to tie shoes. They don't want to buy shoes or read about the history of shoelaces. My job is to give them clear steps to tie shoes.

By focusing on search intent, I make sure people find what they need on my site. This makes them happy and keeps them coming back.

It's a super simple concept, but many people get it wrong.
